Northern Alberta International Children's Festival -
May 29 - June 2, 2001

On Site Artists:

Modern day minstrels of mayhem, site artists can be found roving around the festival site. Daily schedules can be found at the information tent. This year's artists include balloon artists, magicians, stilt walkers and a host of other wacky performers. Just a few of the artists you'll see this year are:

Paul Isaak: Whether he's shaving while juggling a razor sharp machete or escaping a SaranWrap straight jacket, Paul Isaak is impossibly funny - and entertaining! Combining skilful juggling with situational comedy, Paul keeps audiences in stitches with his humour and unpredictability. But be warned - audience members may find themselves an integral part of his performance.

Dan the One Man Band: A festival favourite, returns with rings on his fingers, bells on his toes and a drum strapped to his back.

Nikolai: How would one describe Nikolia? Well, he is a character - a real life cartoon character come to life. A master of a million disguises, Nikolia may be stiltwalking high above the crowd one minute, then scurrying about as a silent court jester the next.
